June 26, 2014
Battle Nations, the popular combat strategy game created by Trade Nations and Nitro developer Z2Live, has just been updated to version 4.0.
As pointed out by Z2Live, Battle Nations 4.0 is a "massive" release. It brings five new levels, more than 80 new missions, and then some.
There's a new storyline where ...
Rebels are fractured with infighting, the Spiderwasp Queen emerges, Perkins finds out some disturbing news, and a Rebel General makes overtures of Peace. The aforementioned insect monarch dwells in a new location called the Spiderwasp Nest, which is characterized by its low ceilings and hanging rocks. There's also a newly discovered Rebel bunker, which houses the Rebel's most formidable weapon yet, the Goliath Tank. Battle Nations 4.0 also introduces a new resource in the form of Plasma. With this new resource, you can train new units such as the Plasma Tank, the Plasma Artillery, the Plasma Trooper, the Plasma Turret, and the Electric Fence. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. With it also come new buildings such as the Plasma Weapons Factory, the Plasma Refinery, the Advanced Plasma Refinery, the Research Lab, the Recycling Plant, and the Chemical Reservoir. There's also the new Missile Defense System for your outpost and the Royal Spiderwasp Warrior prestige unit.
