Get ready for some out of this world fun with the latest Disco Zoo update. Version 1.2.1 of the fun zoo simulation game brings a number of new features to the table. First up, players can now blast off into space in their own rocket ship and capture interesting new animals. Even though its not mentioned in the release notes, Touch Arcade says the update also brings a new City section with six different animals to snag. Players can also purchase hats and beach balls for the animals to play with. The crazy animals might even steal hats from visitors too. A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Disco Zoo can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. A number of in-app purchases are available. Originally introduced back in February, Disco Zoo sees gamers get the chance to capture and care for a number of fun animals. Throw in some disco parties, and you’ll have a great time playing. For more information, you can read our own Christine Chan’s original review. The first major update to the game arrived in March. Version 1.1 brought new animals from the Ice Age and a toddler mode that disabled DiscoBux purchases and access to the in-game store. Developer of the game, Nimblebit, also recently announced a new title in development, a Las Vegas themed edition of the Tiny Tower, aptly named Tiny Tower Vegas.
