Givit 5.0 Is A Standalone Video Editor Minus Social Networking Features

June 4, 2014
Givit has just received another major update. And with this update, the app has become a standalone video editor with no social networking features whatsoever. That's right: Givit 5.0 removes the social feeds and social media sharing that were supported in previous versions. As a result, the app doesn't need to be connected to Givit's network for sign-in or any other functionality. However, Givit 5.0 still lets you edit videos on your camera roll and save your edited videos back to the camera roll for sharing and uploading elsewhere. "Version 5.0 is our gift to everyone out there who has been creating or wants to easily create great videos on their iOS device without limitations on length and features," Givit developer VMIX Media explains. "Who knows, maybe the next Spielberg will get his or her start making their first movie with Givit! While Givit may not have reached the success in business terms that we had hoped for we are thrilled that the editing technology has a chance to live on in the hands of storytellers, thrill seekers and creatives the world over." Givit 5.0 also makes all of the filters totally free to use. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Givit 5.0 is available now in the App Store for free.
