The unique Pixel Press Floors app has just made the jump to version 1.0.2, adding a number of new features.
Allowing users to create and play their own platformer, the app now supports the iPhone. Gamers can play arcade levels on the iPhone 4s and up.
Users can now also easily record and share videos of their creation and playing process using Kamcord.com.
Thankfully, the Arcade browsing experience is now much faster.
Here are the other changes:
+ New Arcade Categories - Hottest levels created in the last 24 hours and last 7 days, Girl Power, and more. + When you finish a level, see other levels created by the creator of the level you just played. + Screen flip - you can now play from both landscape orientations + Various stability and usability improvements + Minor improvements to Capture from Paper - also we’re making progress towards more devices, stay tuned.Pixel Press Floors can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. An enemy pack and power-up pack can be added with an in-app purchase. The app originally hit the App Store back in late April. To make a game, designers will need to download a free sketch guide and draw their own level on the included grid paper. Using the iPad’s camera, the drawing is then captured and converted into a game level. It also nabbed an Honorable Mention nod in our AppAdvice App of the Week contest shortly after its release.
