Stitcher Radio for Podcasts has just been updated to version 6.1 with a number of improvements. Version 6.1 of the popular on-demand Internet radio app introduces automative integrations with Jaguar and Land Rover, allowing you to control the app through your in-dash MySpin interface in either of those vehicles. Additionally, the updated app includes enhancements and bug fixes for its existing automotive integrations with BMW, Ford, General Motors, and Mazda. Stitcher Radio 6.1 also adds support for Background App Refresh. With this function enabled, new episodes for playlists set for offline listening are automatically downloaded and Front Page content automatically updated. Speaking of Front Page, the latest update to Stitcher Radio also offers better support for saving to listen later and sharing headlines from the Front Page. Now, the app saves or shares only the segment, as opposed to the full episode where the segment belongs. Stitcher Radio 6.1 also includes the following fixes:
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Stitcher Radio for Podcasts 6.1 is available now on the App Store for free. Stitcher Radio was updated to version 6.0 late last March with a new design for iOS 7 and other improvements.
