Tweetbot 3 Updated With Support For Sharing Multiple Twitter Images
June 13, 2014
Tweetbot 3, the popular Twitter client for iPhone and iPod touch developed by Tapbots, has just received another notable update.
This new update is most notable for its addition of support for viewing and posting multiple Twitter images.
The ability to post multiple photos was itself added to the official iOS app of Twitter late last March, supporting up to four photos to be shared at a time.
Similarly, the latest version of Tweetbot 3 lets you post up to four photos in a single tweet.
Note, though, that multiple images won't show up in search or streaming timeline since Twitter doesn't support the functionality yet.
Also in the newly updated Tweetbot 3, the image detail view now shows the corresponding tweet when relevant, as in the image mosaic in the profile view. As well, Instagram videos are now marked with a play icon.
The new version of Tweetbot 3 also includes Spanish localization and various bug fixes.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Tweetbot 3 is available in the App Store for $4.99.
