UpWord Notes Updated With Recurring Reminders And More Personalization Options
June 28, 2014
UpWord Notes, the app that our AppAdvice review dubbed as "the Mailbox for notes," has just received its first major update.
Now at version 1.1, UpWord Notes features the addition of support for recurring reminders.
As before with UpWord Notes, you can set a reminder for any note by tapping the clock icon and choosing a reminder option in the Mailbox-like menu. But now you can tap Custom to set a custom reminder and make it a recurring one.
At the moment, reminders may be made to recur daily, weekly, or monthly. Perhaps options for choosing particular days of the week for recurring reminders will be added in a future update to the app.
UpWord Notes 1.1 is also said to include improvements to Dropbox sync.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, UpWord Notes 1.1 is available now on the App Store as a free update or as a new $0.99 download.
The updated app also includes new personalization options, including new themes and alarm sounds. These may be unlocked via in-app purchase for $0.99 each or just $4.99 as an all-in-one bundle.
UpWord Notes is created by Lau Brothers, the same developer behind the money-saving app Unsplurge. For more information on that other app, check out our original review here on AppAdvice.
