We Get A Better Look At The Rear Shell Of Apple's iPhone 6 With These Leaked Photos

Just over a week ago, a photo of what is said to be the back cover of Apple's so-called "iPhone 6" was leaked. That image showed only the outer part of the shell and nothing more. But now we're treated to several higher-quality photos of the rear shell of the widely rumored 4.7-inch smartphone as seen from multiple angles.
The new set of photos, shared by Nowehereelse.fr (via MacRumors), shows the rear shell in its outer, inner, left side, and right side views.
The outer view, that is, the back itself of the back cover, reveals nothing new compared with the earlier leaked photo. The inner view shows a collection of fittings that is not unexpected in an Apple-designed handset. The left side view show cutouts for the mute switch and volume buttons. Finally, the right side view shows part provisions for a SIM card tray and a power button, reportedly relocated by Apple from the top to make it more accessible on a larger device.
But perhaps the most interesting feature of the supposed iPhone 6 rear shell is the cut-out Apple logo. This has been speculated to hint at the likelihood of an illuminated Apple logo to be used for notifications. But it could only mean that the iPhone 6 will have an embedded Apple logo rather than a printed one.
Curiously, the newly leaked images include the logo of "Xiao Long Tea House," suggesting that their virality was expected and therefore used to help advertise the establishment.
Apple's 4.7-inch iPhone 6 is rumored to be launched in September, with a 5.5-inch model said to be released several months later. The unveiling of the iPhone 6 is expected to coincide with the official release of iOS 8, which is also said to power Apple's fabled iWatch, reportedly slated for launch in October.
