Worms Developer Team17's New Game Asks You To Make An Alien Planet (R)evolve
June 12, 2014
Team17, the studio behind the popular Worms series of artillery strategy games, has just released a new game on iOS. But this new game doesn't star creeping invertebrates. Rather, it stars cute and colorful aliens whose planet must be revolved so that they may survive. Hence, the game's name: (R)evolve.
In (R)evolve, you must spin the aliens' planet to save them from wave after wave of meteors and help them evolve and propagate life. To do so, you just tap the left and right sides of the screen.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, (R)evolve is available now in the App Store for free, with a $0.99 in-app purchase for removing ads.
Team17 won at the 2014 Great British Game Jam for (R)evolve:
(R)evolve was prototyped in just 48 hours, as Team17’s entry into 2014’s ‘Great British Game Jam’. The game came in first place, winning the competition!
