July 29, 2014
Since it was announced by developer Cornfox & Bros. and publisher FDG Entertainment, Oceanhorn: Game of the Year Edition has been teased as "coming soon." Well, now we've been told just how "soon" that is.
As announced by FDG in a recent tweet, the highly anticipated major update to the acclaimed Zelda-inspired action-adventure game Oceanhorn is coming on Thursday next week, Aug. 7.
FDG's tweet is accompanied by the official trailer for the update, which was released last week. Take a look:

Dedicated to "Your Voice," the trailer features voice-overs by some fans of Oceanhorn before previewing the new location, the new dynamic weather system, and the new fishing mini-game that are expected to arrive as the highlights of the upcoming edition.
While not teased in the video, several improvements including enhanced graphics, 64-bit support, and Finnish language localization are also included in Oceanhorn: Game of the Year Edition.
Oceanhorn: Game of the Year Edition is scheduled to be released, as mentioned, on Aug. 7. It's set to come as a free update to Oceanhorn, which is available as a new $8.99 universal download on the App Store, with no in-app purchases whatsoever.
Oceanhorn: Game of the Year Edition was first teased last month, promising "the best possible Oceanhorn experience yet." It's so called apparently in celebration of the fact that Oceanhorn, which was released last November, was hailed by Apple as one of the best indie games of 2013. Also, we here at AppAdvice honored it with a well-deserved spot in our list of the top 10 paid iPhone apps of last year.
