Marvel Puzzle Quest drops 'Dark Reign' subtitle, welcomes Deadpool and Team-Ups
July 30, 2014
A marvelous new update has just been released for Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign.
Wait, make that just Marvel Puzzle Quest.
You see, the latest update to the popular Marvel-themed match-three puzzle game has dropped the "Dark Reign" subtitle. According to developer D3PA, this signifies the beginning of the game's expansion outside of the "Dark Reign" storyline.
Another notable change in the new version of the game is the arrival of the Merc with a Mouth himself, Deadpool, who just last month was featured in its very own pinball table in Zen Pinball.
There's also the introduction of Team-Ups, which let you battle with single-use abilities from characters that aren't part of your teams:
The new version of Marvel Puzzle Quest also includes some UI and character ability tweaks. Check out the new trailer for the game: If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, Marvel Puzzle Quest is available on the App Store for free.
