Apple adds five new faces to its executive leadership press page

August 15, 2014

Apple has recently spruced up its executive leadership press page with the addition of five vice presidents from the company.

Here’s a complete list of the new additions:

Paul Deneve, vice president of special projects Lisa Jackson, vice president of environmental initiatives Joel Podlny, vice president and dean of Apple University Johny Srouji, vice president of hardware technologies Denise Young Smith, vice president of worldwide human resources

The page previously only listed senior vice presidents in the company. Interestingly, all five of the new additions report directly to CEO Tim Cook.

Earlier this week, Apple released a diversity report on its workforce. Globally, 70 percent of its employees are male and 30 percent are female.

At least in the United States, 55 percent of employees are white, 15 percent Asian, 11 percent Hispanic, and 7 percent black. Nine percent of employees didn’t declare a race while 2 percent said they belonged to two or more races. One percent selected “other.”

Cook, in an open letter, said the company will be working hard to improve the numbers.

Young Smith also narrated a recently released video about diversity at the company.
