Apple releases iTunes 11.3.1 with a podcast bug fix

August 7, 2014
Apple has just released a minor update to iTunes, version 11.3.1, that fixes an issue with podcasts. Here’s the changelog:
iTunes 11.3.1 addresses a problem where subscribed podcasts may stop updating with new episodes and resolves an issue where iTunes may become unresponsive while browsing your podcasts episodes in a list.
The last version of iTunes, 11.3, arrived a little less than a month ago. The major addition was iTunes Extras for HD movies, which will also land on iOS 8 when it is officially released sometime this fall. Apple has also been busy on the beta version of iTunes 12. Released in late July, it features an OS X Yosemite compatible design, family sharing with up to six people, improved playlists, and a redesigned info window. To download the update, head to the Mac App Store or the iTunes site now.
