Apple has made yet another change to its site after officially closing a $3 billion acquistion of Beats Electronics. First spotted by 9to5Mac, there is now a dedicated Beats by Dr. Dre microsite in the Apple Online Store’s accessory section.
Here’s what Apple says about Beats:
Great sound should never be an afterthought. In every pair of Beats headphones, every speaker, every note, you’ll experience the unique blend of science and artistry that lets you hear your music the way the artist intended. Don’t just listen. Hear. The section features Beats headphones, earbuds, and speakers. Even the idiotic Beats Pill Dude makes an appearance on the page. Last week, after the deal was completed, Apple welcomed Beats to the family with a microsite available on its homepage. Purchases initiated on the Beats site have now also been redirected to the Apple Online Store. The Pill Dude also starred in a now deleted video featuring the accessory talking with Siri.
