Apple selects Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage as its latest App of the Week
Apple has just selected a new app as part of its App of the Week program. For the next seven days, you can download Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage for free.
The unique physics-based puzzler features more than 140 levels in three different lands. Gamers will need to use their icebreaking skills to solve puzzles and cut their way though ice, ropes, cannons, explosives, slime, and more.
It also offers some fun boss battles and is packed with some unique humor.
Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage is universal and designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini.
The game originally arrived more than a year ago on the App Store as part of the Rovio Stars program, which sees the Angry Birds developer publish titles made by third parties.
A May update to the game brought new levels, boss fights, and more goodies.
Developer Nitrome has also recently released a new game for iOS devices, 8bit Doves. The nostalgic title is made in the 8-bit pixel art style and sees players tasked with leading doves toward the exit in each stage of the game.
It’s universal and can be downloaded for $2.99.
