NFL Mobile updated with NFL Now integration and more ahead of season kickoff
With just a week to go before the start of this year’s NFL season, NFL Mobile has been updated with additional features and enhancements.
Perhaps most significantly, the latest update to the official news and information iOS companion app of the National Football League adds integration with NFL Now. As a result, you can now view national and personalized video feeds right within the app.
Just yesterday, NFL Now integration was also added to Yahoo Screen, with Yahoo Sports to soon follow suit.
NFL Now was launched earlier this month on iOS and Apple TV.
The new version of NFL Mobile also includes the following improvements:
- Live stream of “Fantasy Live” now available for all users
- Ability to share articles and VOD via Facebook and Twitter
- Additional social content added to News section
- Access to NFL Network Schedule
- Optimization to reduce app crashes
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, NFL Mobile is available on the App Store for free, with in-app purchases offered for unlocking subscriptions and season passes.
The updated app also includes live streams of local Sunday CBS and Fox games available for Verizon Premium and More Everything customers, and a $1.99 per month purchase option for More Everything customers to unlock NFL RedZone. Moreover, it brings a fix for a bug affecting Verizon account linking.
Can’t get enough of NFL? Then check out Madden NFL Mobile, which was released on iOS just yesterday. The game lets you select your favorite franchise and build the ultimate Madden team with characters based on real NFL players.
