Welcome back to our weekly look at some of the newest iOS device accessories to hit the market. In this week’s edition, we’re highlighting two iPad Air cases, a beautiful smart watch, and more.
AL13 v2 Case for the iPhone 5s/5 from designed by m
Originally launched as a
Kickstarter project earlier this year, the AL13 v2 Case for the iPhone 5s/5 is now available to the general public. Made with aerospace aluminum, the bumper is durable but weighs only 13 grams. Designed to not interfere with an iPhone’s signal, it simply snaps on for a quick installation.
Available in seven different colors – black, sliver, gunmetal, space gray, red, blue, and champagne – the AL13 v2 case can be purchased now for
$79.99 at designed by m’s site.
Touchfire Keyboard Case for the iPad Air
Made for the iPad Air, Touchfire’s keyboard and case combo is definitely unique. Instead of a standalone keyboard, the company’s solution sits directly on the iPad's screen to provide resistance for fast and comfortable touch typing. It snaps into place using the iPad’s integrated magnets. The case itself provides a number of typing and media viewing angles. The keyboard is stored in the cover, safely behind the iPad, when not in use.
Buyers can select from a black, blue, gray, or red version of the case for the iPad Air.
It costs $69.99 through the company’s site. But until Wednesday, August 13, enter the promo code “Summer2014” to receive 20 percent off of your order.
There are also versions of the case combo for the iPad mini and iPad 2-4.
The New Cookoo Smart Watch from Connectedevice
Connectedevice is back with the next-generation Cookoo smart watch. Along with an analog watch, the new device adds a full digital display for a number of different notifications. Unlike other smart watches, the New Cookoo is powered by a button-cell battery than can last for a few months and be easily replaced by the user. It is also water resistant up to 100 meters. Buyers can select from a watch with a soft-touch silicone band or a form-fitting nylon strap. Colors range from black to a powerful purple.
The watch is available for
$149.99 now.
