Originally released just last June for PlayStation, Windows, and Xbox, Valiant Hearts is an acclaimed puzzle adventure game inspired by letters written during the Great War. According to Ubisoft:
Valiant Hearts: The Great War is the story of crossed destinies and a broken love in a world torn apart. It gives players the chance to live a touching yet comical adventure which focuses on the journey of four people as they brave the battles and difficulties of the Great War following their faithful canine companion. All of the main characters are inextricably drawn together, and friendship, love, sacrifice and tragedy befall each as they help each other to retain their humanity against the horrors of war.

As noted in the trailer, the upcoming iOS port features intuitive touch controls and, of course, Retina graphics. Like the original console game, Valiant Hearts for iOS is powered by UbiArt Framework, Ubisoft’s proprietary graphics engine previously used for Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Valiant Hearts: The Great War for iOS is scheduled to be released on the App Store on Sept. 4.
