Gree, Ubisoft and PlayNext team up to develop Assassin’s Creed Memories

July 17, 2014
A new Assassin’s Creed title is in the works for iOS devices. Gree, Ubisoft, and PlayNext are teaming up to produce Assassin’s Creed Memories. Combining elements of card battle games, RPGs, and strategy titles, players will be tasked with traversing history to build a power guild, recruit allies, and defeat enemies. Here’s a little more about the game from a press release:
Assassin’s Creed Memories will offer players the opportunity to explore familiar time periods like Renaissance Italy and Colonial America, while also bringing some new eras into play. The game will offer a deep and engaging single player experience as well as multiplayer combat involving battles of up to 20 versus 20 players. With an emphasis on customization and strategy, each player will be able to create and build a unique experience as they decide what kind of Assassin they want to be and which fan-favorite allies they want by their side.
The title is slated to arrive worldwide later this summer after a soft launch in limited territories. More information can be found on the game’s Facebook page. Assassin’s Creed: Pirates, the latest title in the series, can be downloaded now on the App Store for free as Apple’s App of the Week.
