UpWord Notes updated with full-text search, offline mode and other improvements
August 9, 2014
Just a couple of weeks after the release of its 2.0 update, UpWord Notes has been updated to version 2.1 with additional enhancements that make the so-called "Mailbox for notes" even better.
UpWord Notes 2.1 sees the introduction of full-text search. This enables you to search through the contents of your notes as well as note titles. It even lets you enclose your search keywords in quotation marks to perform exact queries.
You can turn on full-text search in the Experimental Features section of UpWord's Advanced Settings.
Activating full-text search also enables full offline mode, which makes every note available even without an Internet connection.
UpWord Notes 2.1 also introduces password protection, available as an in-app purchase, and two new fonts (Noto Sans and Noto Serif), available through the in-app purchase font packages.
