Cartoon Network working on new 'Adventure Time' and 'Steven Universe' iOS games
Cartoon Network is working on at least two new iOS games to add to its already impressive portfolio of titles on the App Store.
Demoed by the popular entertainment company this past weekend at PAX Prime, the new games include one that’s based on “Adventure Time” and another that’s based on “Steven Universe.” As reported by Touch Arcade, the former is called Adventure Time Game Wizard and the latter is titled Steven Universe: Attack the Light.
Adventure Time Game Wizard is being developed by Pixel Press, the maker of the game creation app Pixel Press Floors. Actually, the game is based on the technology that powers Pixel Press Floors, and is being designed to allow players to create games featuring “Adventure Time” characters and elements.
Grumpyface, which has worked with Cartoon Network on Mutant Fridge Mayhem – Gumball and Ghost Toasters – Regular Show and with sister network Adult Swim on Super Mole Escape and Castle Doombad, is also said to be helping out with Adventure Time Game Wizard.
But on a much more substantial capacity, Grumpyface is developing Steven Universe: Attack the Light, an RPG that looks something like this:
