Camp Pokemon, the second game to feature the cartoon characters, has arrived on the App Store

October 21, 2014

By Pikachu! Yet another official Pokemon-themed game has arrived on the App Store.

Designed for children ages 6 to 8 and developed by The Pokemon Company, Camp Pokemon allows players to explore an immersive island offering activities featuring the popular cartoon characters.

Players are guided by camp counselors and shown what it takes to become a Pokemon trainer.

Kids are able to collect stickers and pins during their journey. The stickers can be used to decorate photos taken with an iOS device’s camera.

Here’s a quick video that shows a little more about the app. Click here if you can’t see it.

A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Camp Pokemon can be downloaded now from the App Store for free.

After a quick soft-launch only in Canada, Pokemon Trading Card Game Online landed for iOS devices earlier this month. That universal and free title is a collectible card game featuring the characters.

And if you can’t get enough Pokemon, you can also download the streaming video app Pokemon TV.
