Ellen DeGeneres launches Ellentube app for watching and sharing family-friendly videos
Ellen DeGeneres has released another app for iOS.
The new app serves as the official iOS client of Ellentube, the popular comedian and talk show host’s newly launched YouTube-like video-sharing website.
The Ellentube site is touted as “the place for hilarious and family-friendly web videos from Ellen DeGeneres and her show and users from around the world.”
The Ellentube app is pretty much the same, except it’s fully optimized for iPhone.
If you already love ellentube as much as I do and want it with you everywhere you go, there’s an app for that. http://t.co/1D0bjWZg3P

The app lets you enjoy Ellen-approved videos, including some of the best, cutest, and funniest ones from around the Web and around the world. It also lets you add your own videos to the Ellentube library by sharing them from your camera roll or shooting a new one with the app.
On her namesake talk show, “Ellen,” DeGeneres often features a number of amusing and charming videos. The Ellentube app makes those videos and more accessible right at your fingertips.
Notably, the videos in Ellentube include clips of DeGeneres and her guests on her show playing her hit guessing game Heads Up, which is available on the App Store for $0.99.
DeGeneres’ other iOS game, Ellen’s Know or Go, is also available on the App Store for $0.99.
