Kabam's The Lord of the Rings: Legends of Middle-earth is the One Game to rule them all
A new iOS game touted as the official game of the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy has just been released on the App Store. It’s called The Lord of the Rings: Legends of Middle-earth.
Developed by Kabam, Legends of Middle-earth is a free-to-play role-playing and character collection game that challenges you to assemble a formidable fellowship and wage war against the evil forces of Sauron and the One Ring.
In the game, you choose to play as a Dwarf, Elf, Human, or Hobbit. As you go on your epic quest, you’ll be guided by none other than Gandalf and be able to recruit iconic characters from the trilogy, including Aragorn, Legolas, Boromir, and, of course, Frodo.

“Each hero possesses unique abilities, allowing each fellowship combination to unleash powerful skills,” Kabam notes. “Players can combat the wicked Sauron’s evil forces in team-based battles, launch their fellowships into the player vs. player arena or face other fellowships around the world.”
Legends of Middle-earth is Kabam’s third game based on the “Lord of the Rings” franchise, following the iOS game The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth and the Web browser game The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age.
The release of Legends of Middle-earth comes just over a couple of weeks after the launch of the action role-playing console game Shadow of Mordor.
