Gameloft bakes new Pastry Paradise match-three puzzle game for iOS
Chillingo isn’t the only high-profile mobile game publisher to have released a new match-three puzzle game on iOS. Gameloft has also added another entry to the match-three puzzle gaming genre with the launch of Pastry Paradise.
Of course, Pastry Paradise is designed as yet another competitor to King’s hugely popular Candy Crush Saga.
In Pastry Paradise, you have to help Hannah, the sweetest chef in the titular land, stop the crooked cook Mr. Moelleux from filling the world with cheap mud cakes and canned custard. To do so, you must travel across “delectable” locations, including Gingerbread Gardens, Wafer Woods, and Mt. Mudcake, and match pastries.

To make matches, you have to swap pastries horizontally, vertically, and even diagonally. As expected, matching more pastries than the minimum three results in special boosters and power-ups.
Pastry Paradise is also integrated with social features that enable you to compete, exchange gifts, and unlock new maps with friends.
The game also features extra challenges and limited-time events that reward special prizes.
