The 'living' addappt contacts app has been completely redesigned using Apple's Swift

November 25, 2014

One of the most innovative apps for iPhone has received a huge update. Addappt 2.0 is available in the App Store.

First introduced in 2012, addappt takes a different approach to the stale address book. In doing so, contact information is updated automatically, as if it were “living.” The new app update features a number of new tools and features, and it has been completely redesigned and rebuilt using Apple’s new Swift language.

With “tapp,” users can send short notifications or emoji to any contact or group with a simple tap. These could include quick announcements, requests, or updates to your family, church members, classroom parents, or more.

Unlike services such as WhatsApp, there are no limits to members. Better still, the messages are secure since they are not stored on addappt servers.

With the update, addappt also remembers how you last communicated with each contact. And under Recents, you can now see the last edited, viewed, or newly created contacts.

If you’ve grown tired of your iPhone’s standard address book, consider addappt, which is available to download at this link.
