November 14, 2014

Welcome back to our weekly look at some of the latest and best iOS device accessories to hit the market. Today, we’re highlighting an app-controllable coffee machine, a case for your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, and more.

switcheasy

Made with a reflective fabric, the Rave from SwitchEasy offers a unique front cover. With a locking kickstand, the handset can be placed into a nice media viewing angle quickly and easily.

The Rave for the iPhone 6 is $29.99, while the case for the larger handset is $10 more. Both can be preordered now. Buyers can select from four different colors – black, blue, orange, and pink.

Mr. Coffee Coffeemaker with WeMo from Belkin

coffee

App-controllable coffee makers seem to be all the rage these days. We mentioned the Artist Café Kickstarter project earlier this week. But if you can’t wait for that device, Belkin has teamed up with Mr. Coffee to produce a WeMo-enabled, 10-cup coffeemaker. With the companion iOS app, users can set up a brewing schedule in advance, adjust brew times, and monitor the brewing status. A full pot of coffee can be brewed in less than eight minutes.

The coffeemaker retails for $149.99 and can be ordered from Belkin’s site now.

#Selfie 3-in-1 Lens for the iPhone 5s/5 from Olloclip

olloclip

While Olloclip has recently introduced a new lens solution for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the company hasn’t forgotten about iPhone 5s/5 owners. The new #Selfie 3-in-1 Lens works with both the front and rear facing camera of the handset. Offering a fisheye, wide-angle, and macro lens, the system comes with a clip-on pendant that allows users to attach it to a keyring, lanyard, or backpack. The lenses work with all photo and video apps.

Buyers can select from two different color combinations. It costs $59.99 and can be purchased from Olloclip’s site now.

JBL Horizon

If you hate mornings like I do, the JBL Horizon clock radio can help make things a little brighter. The standout feature of the clock radio is the built-in LED lights that are designed to help wake you up gently by getting progressively brighter. With Bluetooth streaming, you can wirelessly connect your iPhone or iPad to play your own music. It also offers two USB ports to charge your devices while sleeping.

You can select from a white or black version of the Horizon. It retails for $99.95 and can be ordered now on JBL’s site.

Kenu Stance for the iPhone

A compact tripod designed specifically for iPhones, Kenu’s Stance mounts directly into the handset’s Lightning port. Weighing only 1.2 ounces, non-slip feet help provide a stable base for the handset. The included joint can be used to placed an iPhone into a perfect angle.

The Stance is available on Kenu’s site for $29.95. It will be available at other retailers starting next year.
