Facebook unveils new Stickered app and send states for Messenger
Facebook has just announced several app enhancements focused on its popular messaging service, Facebook Messenger.
First, the social networking giant has peeled the wraps off its latest app, Stickered for Messenger.
A sort of spinoff of the Messenger app (which itself is a spinoff of the main Facebook app), Stickered is a free app that lets you add stickers to your photos and send them to your friends on Messenger. The stickers are, of course, the same as the cute, crazy, and colorful ones found in the Messenger app.
And in celebration of the season, Facebook has also introduced holiday-inspired sticker packs along with a festive frame for New Year’s Eve selfies.
Moreover, as reported by TechCrunch, Facebook has begun rolling out a backed update to the Messenger app that adds support for send states (sent/delivered/seen) as indicated with “FacePile” friend photos (especially in group chats) instead of gray text. Take a look:

Facebook updated its other popular messaging app, WhatsApp, with enhanced send states, but only using colored checkmarks.
The new Facebook Messenger send states are being rolled out now in Europe and the U.S., with a worldwide launch to follow soon.
As for the new Stickered for Messenger app, it’s available now on Android, and it’s said to be “coming soon” to iOS.
