Microsoft releases MSN News, Sports, Money, Health & Fitness and Food & Drink apps for iOS
Microsoft has just launched a new suite of iOS apps across a handful of verticals, in line with the redesign of its MSN portal in September.
The new MSN apps out now on iOS include MSN News, MSN Sports, MSN Money, MSN Health & Fitness, and MSN Food & Drink.
MSN News offers top stories and breaking news, MSN Sports features sports updates and schedules, MSN Money provides financial data and tools, MSN Health & Fitness includes workout videos and medical references, and MSN Food & Drink presents recipes and drink guides.
All of the iOS apps are automatically synced with their counterparts on the Web and other platforms for quick access to up-to-date personalized information. This is in keeping with Microsoft’s vision for MSN as a portal that’s adapted to “a mobile-first, cloud-first world.”
MSN News, MSN Sports, MSN Money, MSN Health & Fitness, and MSN Food & Drink are all available now on the App Store as free universal downloads for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
As noted by The Next Web, MSN Weather is also set to be released by Microsoft on iOS “in the coming months.”
