In September, T-Mobile made Wi-Fi calling and texting available to all of the company’s new Simple Choice-plan customers.
It also offered existing customers the ability to upgrade to a Wi-Fi-calling and texting-enabled smartphone through “an exclusive enrollment window” in “Jump,” the name the carrier gave to its upgrade program as part of UnCarrier 7.0. Both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus support the feature.
