Mark your calendars. Apple CEO Tim Cook just announced that the Apple Watch will be shipping to customers in April.
He made the declaration during a conference call discussing the company’s record quarterly earnings.
Cook didn’t say exactly when during the month the device will ship. Previous rumors pegged the shipping date sometime in March.
The device will start at $349 for the low-end Sport model. Pricing has yet to be announced for the Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition versions.
When originally announced last year, Apple only said the device would arrive in “early” 2015.
A recent report said the device’s battery will last for around 19 hours of passive and active use. Apple originally said that the device would need to be charged nightly.
