Evolve: Hunters Quest is your key to unlocking perks in 2K's upcoming Evolve shooter
Evolve, the upcoming cooperative and competitive shooter developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by 2K Games, won’t be out until a little over a week from now. But its official companion game, Evolve: Hunters Quest, is out now on iOS.
Evolve: Hunters Quest is a match-three puzzle game with role-playing game (RPG) elements. And as you might expect, it has you matching three or more colors to activate attacks and unlock special abilities against enemies.
It’s a pretty good match-three RPG in its own right, where you play as hunters going against monsters and wild animals. But if you’re planning on playing Evolve on your PC or console after it comes out, then there’s more the game can offer to you.
Evolve: Hunters Quest actually connects to Evolve via your my2K account so that the mastery points you earn in the former can be used to acquire mastery boosts for your hunters in the latter.
You can also complete objectives in Evolve: Hunters Quest to unlock badges in Evolve. What’s more, the mobile game lets you view your stats and multiplayer match replays on the go.
