Powerful iPhone and iPad task manager Any.do arrives on the Mac

All Things Mac
January 23, 2015

Popular iPhone and iPad to-do app Any.do is making its way to another Apple platform. A new Any.do app can be downloaded now from the Mac App Store.

And the Mac app offers a nice number of new features that should help anyone keep their task list in check.

With Notification Center integration, users can receive reminders for upcoming tasks, new updates from team members, and recurring reminders.

The entire app is accessible through the Menu Bar on your Mac, including app badges that show how many tasks are left on a to-do list for today.

Any.do can be downloaded now on the Mac App Store for free. The iOS app, which is universal for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, is also available on the App Store for no charge.

You can purchase a premium subscription that will unlock other features on both platforms like unlimited file size, customized recurring tasks, location-based reminders, and more.

For a limited time, to celebrate the Mac app launch, a premium subscription is $26.99 per year or $2.99 per month. That’s a great deal compared to the usual $45 per year or $5 a month charge. The features are available both on the Mac and your iOS devices.

It’s nice to see Any.do expand into a true cross-platform service like competitor Wunderlist. I’ve been a big Wunderlist fan for a while, but the the new Any.Do Mac integration looks to be very nice and useful for Apple fans.
