Big improvements are coming to the powerful to-do app Wunderlist in 2015

In a recent blog post, founder and CEO of to-do app Wunderlist – Christian Reber – offered a sneak peak at some of the improvements coming to the popular cross-platform service.

A future update to the iOS app will add the ability to create folders and bring a new design for the sidebar with the addition of a Quick Add button for tasks. Here’s more about that feature:

Just like you, we know that when an idea strikes it needs to be quickly captured. With one tap of Quick Add’s blue circle, you can instantly add a to-do or a new list. What’s really special, is that adding to-dos to Wunderlist has become truly intelligent. Like magic, Quick Add instantly recognizes and creates a Reminder and Due Date as you type or speak.

And Wunderlist will soon be launching a public API, which definitely opens up a huge number of possibilities. For example, after launch, users will be able to star an email in Gmail to add it to their Wunderlist or sync it with a preferred note-taking app.

Wunderlist is one of the apps included in our guide showcasing some of the Best iPad Task Managers.

You can download Wunderlist now on the App Store for free. It’s universal for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini.

An in-app purchase of $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year unlocks a number of premium features including unlimited access to files and more.
