Photo editor Tangent is named Apple’s latest free App of the Week
Thursday is here once again, so that means Apple has selected the latest free App of the Week. For the next week, you can download powerful photo editor Tangent for no charge. It’s usually $1.99.
The powerful app allows photographers to add shapes, patterns, textures, and more to their images. Instead of just a photo, you can easily use the app to turn an image into a fun piece of art.
All of your work can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Tangent is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. There are a number of in-app purchases that will unlock other photo editing tools.
Developer Pixite also offers a number of other great universal photo editing apps that we’ve definitely enjoyed here at AppAdvice, including Fragment, Union, Matter, LoryStripes, Shift, and more. Thankfully, you can pick up the Pixite Photo Kit app bundle with those five titles for $5.99.
And if you’re wanting a different kind of photo editor, definitely take a look at Filters for iPhone, which was just released on the App Store.
The $0.99 app offers more than 800 different filters to help create that perfect image. In our review from earlier today, Christine Chan said she enjoyed the app’s design and the adjustment tools.
