Sling Television has introduced new channels on its video streaming service. The changes were first announced in February.

The service’s “Best of Live TV” core package now includes access to IFC and AMC. This means subscribers can now live stream series like “Portlandia,” “The Walking Dead,” and “Mad Men.”

The Best of Live TV pack remains $20 per month.

A new “Hollywood Extra” pack has also been added. For an additional $5 per month, users can access content from EPIX, EPIX2, EPIX3, EPIX Drive-In, and Sundance TV. With Sling’s Replay feature, customers can watch content on these channels that have aired up to seven days prior without a DVR.

Video on demand (VOD) functionality for IFC, AMC, EPIX, and Sundance TV is coming soon.

First introduced in January, Sling TV offers live video streaming across multiple platforms, including iOS, Mac PC, Android, Fire TV, and Roku.

I’ve been using Sling TV since it launched, as has Brent Dirks. Both of us continue to be impressed with the cord cutting service. For more information on subscribing, follow this link.
