There’s yet another way, courtesy of Misfit, for you to workout and burn calories with the new Apple Watch.
The Misfit Minute can be found in the free Misfit iPhone app. Once you open up the watch app, first select a time interval of one, four, or seven minutes. The app will then recommend a total body workout that incorporates a variety of body weight exercises and high intensity circuit training that will both build strength and burn calories.
Each workout is promised to be different and will offer new exercises that target different areas of the body.
To help keep motivated, you’ll be able to see your workout history and progress over time. Misfit also includes inspirational messages to help power through exercising.
The Misfit app is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and can be downloaded now on the App Store.
To monitor your activity with the app, you’ll need to also use a Misfit Shine or Flash tracker, Beddit sleep monitor, or a Pebble smartwatch. You can purchase a Flash for as low as $32.99 from Amazon.com.
Just last week, Misfit unveiled version 2.0 of the app. Along with a much-needed visual makeover with a tabbed-based layout, it also improved the syncing feature, and made finding friends and accepting friend requests even easier.
