Product Hunt for iOS goes 2.0 with search, collection curation and more
Product Hunt, the popular website for sharing and discovering the latest and top trending products, has just updated its official iOS app to version 2.0.
Since its release in August last year, Product Hunt for iOS has been allowing users to hunt for new products, submit and vote for favorite products, and see what others are hunting. It has also been enabling users to share products with friends and follow discussions and Q&As with product creators.
Now, with the arrival of its 2.0 update, the Product Hunt app has gained a handful of significant features that put it on par with the Product Hunt website, as far as key functionalities go.
For the most part, Product Hunt 2.0 makes hunting for products even quicker and easier on the go. It lets you follow friends to keep track of their hunting activity. It lets you search for products, collections, and people on the Product Hunt network. It also lets you check out products that are related to what you’re currently viewing.
Another notable new feature in Product Hunt 2.0 is the ability to create and manage — or “curate,” as it were — collections of products. This enables you to collect products of certain categories of interest, such as great apps for traveling and products from female founders, for easier access and sharing.
Also easier in Product Hunt 2.0: downloading apps, as it lets you install apps right within itself.
If you want to download Product Hunt 2.0, which is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 8.0 or later, click here to get it for free from the App Store.
And if you like it, make sure to vote for Product Hunt 2.0 in the app itself.
