Beautiful real-time MOBA game Vainglory has just been updated to version 1.3 bringing a new hero and much more.

The game, enhanced by Apple’s iOS 8 Metal graphics technology, has just added Vox. He uses targeted sound waves to attack enemies. As a mobile sniper, he can also move quickly across the battlefield and do damage to a single target or groups of enemies.

Here’s a video that shows more about Vox and how he can be used by gamers. Click here if you can’t see it.

Another nice addition includes two extra slots in private matches for spectators.

Gamers can now also honor and report players after a match. You can give a thumbs up to nice teammates and opponents. Giving a thumbs down allows you to report players and specify a reason.

You can read more about all of the other updates in the game in a detailed blog post here.

I’m far from a MOBA expert, but have really enjoyed playing Vainglory. Developer Super Evil Mega Corp. has done a great job improving the game since it originally arrived back in November.

There are two separate versions of the game available to download in the App Store – Vainglory for iPhone and the tablet-optimized Vaniglory for the iPad/iPad mini. Both can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. As usual, there are a number of in-app purchases available.
