Apple releases iOS 8.4 beta 3 to registered developers, public testers
Apple has just seeded the third beta version of iOS 8.4 to both registered developers and members of the public testing program. It can be downloaded now over-the-air.
This new beta arrives exactly two weeks after the release of iOS 8.4 beta 2 and is highlighted by a revamped stock Music app.
We’ll let you know if we find any major changes in the new software.
And if you missed it, our own Bryan M. Wolfe recently offered a comprehensive writeup examining all the new changes to the Music app and even a new home for Audiobooks.
It’s unknown when iOS 8.4 will be released to the public. But it could be before WWDC in early June since Apple is widely expected to announce iOS 9 at the developer focused event.
Apple also took time today to release the third beta edition of OS X Yosemite 10.10.4. Registered developers and members of the public testing program can download that new software from the Mac App Store.
