The best way to control your Nest Learning Thermostat, Thessa, has just been updated to version 1.3.1 with a highly requested feature.

With the new version, users can control multiple thermostats from either the iOS 8 Notification Center widget or Apple Watch. From the widget, just tap the name of the current thermostat to reveal a list of all your different devices. On the Apple Watch, just Force Touch and then select Switch.

Here’s an interactive demo of the Thessa Apple Watch app courtesy of our sister site WatchAware. If you’re interested, the site has previews of the more than 4,000 Apple Watch apps available to download.

A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Thessa can be downloaded now for a sale price of $0.99. It will return to its regular $1.99 pricing soon.

Originally landing back in January as Thermos, I’ve being using the app as my main way to interact with the thermostat. It’s highly recommended, and the iOS 8 Notification Center widget and Apple Watch support isn’t available through the official Nest Mobile app.

An OS X version of the widget is also available for the Notification Center in Yosemite. It costs $2.99 in the Mac App Store.
