Spotify’s redesigned iOS app, featuring the Now start page and more, is showcased in a new leak
Earlier this week, Spotify announced some major new additions. Along with video content and podcasts, the streaming music service unveiled a number of other new features like the Now start page and unique Spotify Running feature.
And we’re getting our first look at the improvements thanks to a number of beta app screenshots provided to 9to5Mac.
The pictured Now start page will learn what you like and recommend music to fit your taste and mood.
And the Spotify Running feature will offer songs specifically based on your running tempo. You can take a look at other screenshots of the beta app in the gallery below.
We’ll definitely let you know when the update is available to download in the App Store. It should be arriving soon.
The current version of the app is universal and designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. A subscription costs $9.99 per month.
Apple is also expected to unveil its answer to Spotify – a revamped Beats Music service – at WWDC early next month in San Francisco. While it reportedly will cost the same as Spotify, Apple is looking to distinguish the service with exclusive content and more.
