Win a brand new HardCase MacBook Case from Waterfield Designs

Accessories
May 28, 2015

In recent years, we’ve highlighted various bags and sleeves for Apple products from San Francisco, California-based Waterfield Designs. Accessories such as the iPhone Spinn CaseVertiGo 2.0, and Rough Rider Messenger bag, all have one thing in common. They are made primarily of leather. The sleek HardCase, by contrast, is made from flexible, ballistic nylon, making it an ideal choice for those who have purchased a new MacBook Pro with Apple’s new Force Touch trackpad.

The American-made case is available from $239. However, one AppAdvice reader can receive a HardCase for free as part of a giveaway.

What it is

The current generation HardCase was introduced in 2013. It’s made from nylon with “impact protective plastic inserts, closed cell foam and a soft padded liner.” The dual-leather flap is black on the outside with an option of colors available for the inside.

The HardCase is offered for the 13-inch MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, and 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. Due to its size, the HardCase is not available for the recently introduced 12-inch MacBook.

Each accented in black, inside flap colors include: black, kiwi, orange, grizzly, cardinal, camel, and chocolate. Hardware is available in nickel or matte black.

Take a look:

I’ve been using accessories from Waterfield Designs for many years and have never been disappointed. The quality is always extraordinary and I like knowing that each item is made in the United States. The HardCase, which I’ve been lucky enough to carry, continues in that tradition.
