WWE SuperCard, 2K Games’ popular wresting-themed collectible card game (which is available for the iPhone/iPod touch, iPad, and Apple Watch), has received a huge update as part of the app’s “second season” offering.
So, first of all, WWE SuperCard brings 50 brand new cards to the game as part of the new “Survivor Tier,” allowing gamers to engage with a wider range of characters from the WWE franchise. As usual, gamers can choose how they’d like to level up these cards, allowing for high degrees of user-customization in order for the perfect pack to be created.
In addition to this, WWE SuperCard has also added a new team event: “People’s Champion Challenge.” This lets gamers engage in a new team-driven version of this event (rather than as a single player). You can also customize your team in the updated app, too, while swapping portraits to include “your favorite Superstar, Legend, or Diva image from any other rarity in your collection,” 2K Games adds.
To recap, here’s a complete list of changes made in WWE SuperCard’s update:
- Team Event: People’s Champion Challenge – Engage in a new team-driven version of this event
- Team Customization – Give your team a unique feel with new customization options
- Portrait Swapper – Swap in your favorite Superstar, Legend, or Diva image from any other rarity in your collection
- Survivor Tier arrives in Season 2 with dozens of added cards and new manager support cards
WWE SuperCard first launched back in August 2014, and soon after, in November, WWE superstars John Cena and The Rock joined the application.
You can download WWE SuperCard free of charge on the App Store now. It’s optimized for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad, as well as for the Apple Watch, too.
