In time for the holidays, Apple has just debuted a couple of video ads for the iPhone 6s.

Ridiculously Powerful

One of the ads, titled “Ridiculously Powerful,” touts the speed and versatility of the iPhone 6s thanks to the Apple A9 system on a chip that powers the device and enables it to run various apps for various tasks.

These include filmmaking, for which the ad features Jon Favreau, the director of the Marvel Cinematic Universe starter “Iron Man” and the holiday staple “Elf.”

Hey Siri

The other ad, titled “Hey Siri,” boasts the hands-free Hey Siri feature of the iPhone 6s, allowing users to speak to Siri without having to press the home button. While Hey Siri is available on older iPhone models only when the devices are connected to power, on iPhone 6s it is always on, whether the device is plugged in or not.

As shown on the video, this affords users the convenience of not having to reach for their phones to summon Apple’s intelligent personal assistant, as in the case of the Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz, who appears in the ad answering a crossword puzzle with the help of Siri.

Apple has previously touted the iPhone 6s’ always-on hands-free Hey Siri feature in two ads featuring Cruz’s fellow Oscar winner Jamie Foxx and the comedian Bill Hader.

The two new videos are part of Apple’s ongoing ad campaign for the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, which bears the tagline, “The only thing that’s changed is everything.”

For the holidays, Apple has also released a Christmas ad featuring the soul singers Stevie Wonder and Andra Day, and including blink-and-you-miss-it cameos by MacBooks and Apple Watches — interestingly, the iPhone 6s is not shown.
