Taylor Swift's '1989 World Tour Live' movie launches exclusively on Apple Music

We heard it was going to happen, and now it has: Taylor Swift has launched a new movie, "The 1989 World Tour Live," exclusively on Apple Music. So long as you’re subscribed to Cupertino’s music streaming service (either paid, or as part of Apple’s free three-month trial), you’ll be able to stream the documentary right now.

Originally announced via a Twitter update from Swift published on her 26th birthday, the movie is a documentary film of Taylor’s latest album, "1989." Its main feature, however, is Swift’s Nov. 28 performance at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia. As such, it offers Apple Music subscribers a chance to see the popular artist perform live right from their iOS device, PC, Mac, or Android device.

There’s also backstage footage, rehearsal clips, and footage of other members of Swift’s team, too. Below, we’ve included a trailer for the film, which hit the Web last week.

Taylor Swift and Apple made headlines for all the wrong reasons earlier this year, when Swift called out Cupertino on its three-month Apple Music trial period. This "love letter" resulted in Apple changing its stance on the trial, and as a result Taylor allowed Cupertino to stream her "1989" album, as well as her previous work, on Apple Music.
