Real Racing 3 updated with Daytona Experience and Apple TV integration
Real Racing 3, the wildly popular ultra-realistic racing game developed by Electronic Arts’ Firemonkeys, has just received a new update, and this one is huge. For one thing, the update brings the so-called Daytona Experience. For another, it adds full integration with the Apple TV.
The Daytona Experience
Thanks to a partnership with Firemonkeys and NASCAR, Real Racing 3 has been updated with the Daytona Experience. This features 700-horsepower NASCAR Spring Cup Series cars racing in the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR, at the new motorsports stadium at Daytona International Speedway. Effectively, Real Racing 3 is the first mobile game to feature the Daytona 500 since the completion of the reconstruction of the world-famous race track.
From today, Feb. 16, through March 4, you can attempt to complete the Daytona 500 event in Real Racing 3 to unlock four iconic NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock cars, yours to keep thereafter in the game. You can choose your team with options including Hendrick Motorsports, Team Penske, Joe Gibbs Racing, and Stewart-Haas Racing, and race alongside the legendary likes of Joey Logano, Chase Elliott, Kevin Harvick, and Matt Kenseth.

On Feb. 28 and 29, you can use Race Teams to team up with your friends in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Team Competition.
And from March 27 to April 2, you can unlock a limited-edition Richard Petty Motorsports throwback Ford Fusion wrapped in a livery driven by Aric Almirola by conquering randomly generated challenges in the Gauntlet Season 4.
Tying in with this update, Firemonkeys and NASCAR have also set up a Fan Engagement Zone in the main neighborhood inside the “World Center of Racing” center injector at Daytona International Speedway. There NASCAR fans can play the game during Speedweeks through Sunday, Feb. 21.
Apple TV integration
As mentioned, in addition to the Daytona Experience, the new version of Real Racing 3 features full integration with Apple TV. Now, not only can you play Real Racing 3 on Apple’s set-top box, you can also race against your friends in split-screen real-time multiplayer sessions in a new mode called Party Play.
Real Racing 3’s Apple TV integration also includes diverse control options and support for cross-device cloud saves.
Be in your element in Real Racing 3
The latest update to Real Racing 3 also introduces a new special event called The Sixth Element, which lets you get behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, optimized for Apple Watch, and now fully integrated with Apple TV, Real Racing 3 is available on the App Store as a free-to-play game.
