The "phenomenal" point-and-click puzzle adventure game Machinarium has finally landed on iPhone and iPod touch.

There is now a Machinarium plushie, fellow Machinarium junkies (pun intended).

During the New Year's App Blowout sale, a number of developers are making their apps and games available at discounted prices or at no cost at all.

This puzzling adventure game was difficult to predict and hard to put down because there was no telling what our robot hero would encounter next.

Machinarium has finally been submitted to Apple and should be available on September 8. However, it will be exclusive for iPad 2 owners due to the memory and CPU constraints of older devices.

The critically acclaimed point-and-click adventure title, Machinarium, is being ported from Valve's Steam platform to the iPad. It now looks like the game may be coming next month.
