Recently, the folks behind the popular Swackett X weather application for Mac unveiled their newest iOS app, Peepometer. The $1.99 iPad app provides a unique weather report and is modeled after the stylish gauges, dials, and meters from the 1950s.
One of our favorite weather apps for Mac has arrived for iOS. The free swackett app, by AGLogic, LLC is available now in the App Store. Calling itself “a different kind of weather app,” swackett provides a visual weather report using Accu Weather forecasts. It does this by using people symbols called “peeps,” which change with the weather.
The Mac App Store, like the App Store before it, is filled with unique applications. One of them, swackett, provides weather on the desktop, but does so in a distinctive way.
