Only for the iPad, the new drawing and painting app is designed to use with an Apple Pencil.

A highlight of the app is more than 1,000 brushes available to use.

Exclusive Live Brushes use special technology that allows artists to simulate creamy oil paint of blossoming watercolors.

Instead of needing to use multiple apps, Fresco features both vector and raster brushes.

You can take a look at some of the art that can be created with the app in a recent Adobe blog post.

Adobe Fresco can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

Most Creative Cloud subscribers can use the full app for no charge. If you just want to use all of the features of Adobe Fresco, you can subscribe for $9.99 per month. Adobe offers a free, six-month trial before the subscription kicks in.

The free version of the app offers a limited number of brushes doesn’t allow users to export high-resolution files.
